Arminco Inc. was presented with the challenge of taking a thin retail space stuck between two businesses and creating a functional floor plan and a design that doesn't make the customers feel claustrophobic. Strategically placed lighting and cabinetry in the front retail area help to provide a warm, welcoming experience. Barn doors on the clinical side are utilized to make the hallway feel not so tight. Without swinging doors, patients and staff don't have to worry about being hit while walking through the hallway. A faux brick wall, coupled with the ceiling's wood beams, is added to provide a classic "New York loft" experience.
