This space is compact and was designed to maximize all areas associated with this practice – reception / waiting area, inviting retail area, lanes, special testing area, contact lens zone, private office and staff areas. The design introduces modern colors and shapes to create dynamic design moments. These moments were strategically located at main focal areas and as wayfinding elements to help guide guests from one area to another. A large design element in this office is the ceiling. The ceiling bulkhead mimics the reception desk and serves as a visual bridge joining the reception area to the optical retail zone. Simultaneously, a section of the flooring has a herringbone pattern to help draw your eye down the corridor and create the visual perception of an elongated space. With limited space, the layout delivers a highly functional floor plan that helps the end user navigate each area in a systematic order, optimizing work performance and patient delivery services.
